On Friday, 5 December 2025, the Deputy Director of the “Ibn Sina” Scientific Research Institute, Mehdi Alidousti, visited the Director of the Gazi Husrev-bey Library, Mr. Dženan Handžić.
Mr. Alidousti presented the fourteen-year project of compiling the Bosnian-Persian dictionary and its publication, expressing particular satisfaction at the opportunity for a copy of this valuable two-volume work to become part of the Gazi Husrev-bey Library’s collection. Mr. Handžić welcomed the project, pointing out its significance not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina but for the entire region.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Alidousti presented the Bosnian-Persian dictionary to Director Handžić, and the participants discussed details related to the promotion of this dictionary, which is planned to be held at the Gazi Husrev-bey Library on 24 December of this year at 2 p.m.
