The periodical science and research journal “Signs of the Time” was first published in the year 1997 with the goal of actualizing and affirming new topics in the field of humanities. The journal is published with the co-operation of a handful of Iranian and Bosnian researchers and intellectuals with prof. Rusmir Šadić, PhD, associate professor at the Faculty of Philosophy at the University of Tuzla, as its editor-in-chief. The editorial board of the journal, in accordance with the current public propensities in the Balkan region, performs the selection of topics for each new volume. The topics mostly cover inquire the fields of philosophical thought, Islamic Gnosticism, cultural dialogue, Persian language and literature, international relations and socio-political studies of the Balkans.
95 volumes so far have been published in the Bosnian language with more than 1000 scientific and expert articles of researchers from Bosnia, Iran and other regions of the world.
The journal so far was awarded twice, in 2011 and 2023 and was presented at the International book fair in Sarajevo as the leading journal in the field of humanities.
This research journal meets the condition of open access. It is availible without charge for the readers in its online form. The users may read, download, copy, print, search through and link the articles of this journal and the texts of its volumes entirely. The readers are not required to consult the editorial board, the publisher, or the researchers that wrote for the volumes of this journal.
