Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to introduce to the readers the Ukrainian crisis and to help them better understand some basic characteristics, occurrences and politics which motivated different participants of this crisis, but the paper will also provide the readers with some hints which will help them to better understand this complex political junction which has its own various dimensions. One would be wrong to perceive the junction merely in a reductionist fashion and in a simplified way, exclusively through the binary prism of good and evil, democracy and freedom, authoritarianism on one side and aggression on the other side, as it is predominantly rendered to the international public by the majority of the media in the West or even in Russia.
