The delegation of the “Ibn Sina” Institute, led by the director, Mr Mohammad Abbasi, on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, came to visit the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, University of Sarajevo, and they were graciously welcomed by the Dean of this high-education institution, Professor Zuhdija Hasanović, PhD. Besides the Dean, the meeting was also attended by Professor Almir Fatić, PhD, Assistant Professor Nedim Begović, PhD, the Vice Dean in charge for quality.
The Dean, Hasanović, presented to the “Ibn Sina” director the history of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, as well as the activities in the MA and PhD cycles, and he pointed out that as the pandemic measures are being lifted, the activities are slowly returning to their normality. Mr Mohammad Abbasi introduced to the Dean the activities of the newly-formed Students’ Club at the Institute. He expressed the necessity to establish collaboration with the Book Club, which functions at the Faculty of Islamic Sciences, as well as the necessity to establish mutual round-table discussions, and exchange of opinions among the members of these two student clubs.
Likewise, they arranged for the collaboration in organising mutual round-table discussions and scientific conferences.
The director of the Institute, Mr Mohammad Abbasi, in his delegation, was accompanied by the Vice Dean, Mr Hamed Zabihi and by Mubina Moker, PhD.
