On September 19, 2025, the participants of the 5th cycle of the Summer School of Diplomacy organized by the „Alija Izetbegović“ Museum visited the „Ibn Sina“ Institute and held a discussion with the Institute’s director.
The participants first visited the library of the Institute. Then the employee of the Institute, Enisa Grabus, introduced them to the activities of the Institute, and especially to the work of the Student Club. After that, the Director of the Institute, Mohammad Hossein Abbasi, in a brief speech, pointed to the most pressing issue of the contemporary world – the genocide against the people of Gaza committed by the Zionist regime. Condemning the crimes of the Zionist regime, and citing various facts and statements by well-known politicians and analysts, he affirmed that the United States is the main supporter of the Zionist regime in the continuation of the genocide against the innocent people of Gaza. Admir Lisica, The Head of the Center for Balkan Studies also presented the Center’s activities and invited the students to get involved in specific projects aligned with their areas of interest. He also announced the upcoming publication of the Conference Proceedings from the recently held international conference, which may serve as a valuable resource for their future research and academic development.
