The book entitled “The Sufi Path of Knowledge” by William Chittick, translated by Professor Rešid Hafizović, PhD, represents one of the newest publications of the Science and Research “Ibn Sina” Institute in 2021.
In that regard, and the aim of getting acquainted with those interested in Islamic studies, the “Ibn Sina” Institute intends to organise this book promotion on December 9, 2021, Thursday, in the Institute’s amphitheatre, staring at 17:00 hrs.
The book “Sufi Path to Knowledge” represents the 20-years of hard endeavour by William Chittick, a professor at the University of Stony Brook in New York, who explores the works of Muhjuddin Ibn Arabi, and it also represents one of his most important pieces of work. Professor Rešid Hafizović, PhD, Sabaheta Gačanin, PhD, and Mubina Moker, PhD, will introduce the book at the manifestation.
The book “Sufi Path of Knowledge” has been proclaimed as the best yearly publishing endeavour at the International Books Fair in Sarajevo.
