On Friday, October 10, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m., a promotion of the book “The Ulema of Sandžak: From the Berlin Congress to the Dissolution of the SFR Yugoslavia (1878–1990)” by Dr. Nadir Dacić will be held, organized by the Mostar Public Library.
This important work represents the latest publishing project of the “Ibn Sina” Scientific Research Institute, produced in co-publishing with the Bosniak National Council of Serbia.
The book provides comprehensive biographies of nearly 600 prominent religious figures from Sandžak, including imams, mualims, muderis, Sharia judges, and muftis, highlighting their role in preserving the religious and cultural identity of the Bosniaks.
In addition to the author, the book will be discussed by Prof. Dr. Sead Šemsović and Sanadin Voloder. The event moderator is Enisa Grabus.
The promotion will be held at the premises of the Mostar Public Library in the Luka district.
