A workshop on marketing in today’s world was held

On October 25, 2024, the „Ibn Sina“ Student Club held a workshop on marketing in today’s world, with Mr. Madžid Hedžazi as the guest speaker. At the beginning of the program, Prof. Dr. Yar Khan addressed the audience and introduced the topic for the new issue of the student periodical „Studentska vremena / Students’ Times“.

First, the attending students introduced themselves, and the ethnic diversity at the workshop was evident. As the students mostly focus on the humanities, Mr. Hedžazi made an effort to create a connection between this field of study and marketing.

Among other things, the lecturer pointed out the following: „Most people think that marketing is something that is used to sell some products, which is of course wrong“.

Marketing is actually the way you sell something, the way you present a product, what makes it so special, its value, and the need people have for it. The approach is important, and a product can significantly influence customers’ attitudes. You need to create a demand for a particular product.

At the end, Professor Khan thanked Majid and said that this workshop was a bridge that connected different opinions.
