The Science and Research “Ibn Sina” Institute in Sarajevo on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution victory organises a contest in essay writing for students and university professors within the territories of the Balkans.
Contestants can send their manuscripts until February 1, 2022, via the “Ibn Sina” Institute e-mail address: ibnsina.info@gmail.com. The topics are as follows:
- The influence of the discourse of the Islamic Revolution in Iran and the influence of Imam Khomeini on the self-confidence of Muslims.
- Reviews and criticisms of prominent pieces of literature (Persian and non-Persian works) about the Islamic Revolution of Iran.
- The scientific achievements of Iran after the Islamic Revolution victory.
- Discussion about the viewpoints and ideas of Imam Khomeini among the intellectual circles which are in search of freedom and justice in the Balkans.
- Imam Khomeini from the perspective of the non-Iranian scholars.
- The secret of the Islamic Revolution victory in Iran compared and contrasted to the other forms of revolution during the last century.
The contest will be held in the following countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro and Kosovo, and its basic aim is to introduce the students and the intellectual circles to the aspects of the Iranian studies, proclamations, musings and operations of the Islamic Revolution in Iran in the last 43 years. All papers will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the “Ibn Sina” Institute, whereas during the ceremony, which will be followed by this portal, three papers will be awarded through financial means, from 500, 300 and 200 BAM.
