The Legal Institute in BiH in premises of the Institute "Ibn Sina" hosted the first meeting / consulting of the legal institutions of the region, namely: Institute of Comparative Law from Belgrade, Institute for public administration from Zagreb and the Institute of constitutional law from Ljubljana.

On Thursday, 06 October 2016, a group of professors and students from the Faculty of Theology of the University Tübingen in Germany, visited the Institute "Ibn Sina". During the visit, proffessor Dr. Stefan Schreiner spoke about the activities of the Group for Religious Studies Tübingen University. Professor said, among other things: The aims of establishing this study group is introducing the comparative study of religion and realistic view of religious change in modern times.
Doctor Rouhollah Ghaderi Kangavar, director of the Institute "Ibn Sina", welcomed the distinguished guests from Germany and said that the Research Institute "Ibn Sina" is a bridge of scientific and cultural exchanges between Iran and the Western Balkan countries, especially Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Plakat za nagradu 2016 A3Research Institute "Ibn Sina" Sarajevo will award two scientific prizes in the amount of 3,000 KM (three thousand KM) in the following areas:
- Islamic philosophy,
- Comparative philosophy - a comparative study of Islamic and Western philosophy,
- Cultural history,
- Education and training,
- Tasawwuf and gnosis,
- Sociology,
- Political Science and International Relations.
We invite all interested researchers, professors and students to send us their so far unpublished works, master's / doctoral theses, studies, books that have been written in 2015 or the current year in printed form, directly or by email to the Institute not later than January 30. 2017.
Papers can be submitted by regular mail to the Institute’s address or electronically. It is required to indicate “For the Annual Ibn Sina Award” in your mail or e-mail. It is also required to send personal data and a short biography, along with e-mail address and phone number..

1Research Institute "Ibn Sina" in Sarajevo organized a lecture on "Palestine - the key issue of the Middle East", and speakers were journalist and writer Mr. Hajrudin Somun and Mr. Muhammad Hamad, First Counsellor and Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Bosnia.

1The Annual "Ibn Sina" award ceremony was held On Wednesday, 03/23/2016. in the amphitheater of the Research Institute in Sarajevo The first laureate of the newly established scientific recognition is mr. Rusmir Šadić from Tuzla, PhD at the University of Zagreb. This year  Commission judged his work on "Development of metaphysics within the Islamic philosophical thought."

1Bosniak national community in Zagreb, On Monday, February 8, 2016 opened the exhibition "Look, Iran" and hosted a panel discussion dedicated to the current political situation in the Middle East.
 Among those present were Mr. Stjepan Mesic, former president of the Republic of Croatian, dr. Zlatko Hasanbegović, culture minister in the Croatian government, Milan Bandic, mayor of Zagreb, hfz. Aziz ef. Allili, imam of the Islamic community of Zagreb, dr. Esad Prohić, former ambassador Croatia in Iran and many others.
