On Friday, November 7, 2025, the Director of the “Ibn Sina” Institute, Mr. Mohammad Abbasi Valadi, together with his colleagues, visited the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where he met and held talks with Ms. Adisa Žero, Acting Director of the Library.
During the meeting, the recently published Bosnian-Persian Dictionary was presented – a long-term project led by Prof. Dr. Namir Karahalilović and realized through the collaboration between the Ibn Sina Institute and the Faculty of Philosophy, University of Sarajevo. The Director of the Institute, together with Dr. Mubina Moker, co-author of the Dictionary, provided a short overview of the process of compiling and publishing this significant work.
Ms. Adisa Žero, Acting Director of the National and University Library of Bosnia and Herzegovina, presented the activities and operations of the Library to the delegation of the Institute. The meeting also served as an opportunity to discuss possibilities for enhancing cultural cooperation between the two institutions.
At the end of the meeting, Ms. Adisa Žero presented the Institute with a copy of the catalog “National Treasures of Bosnia and Herzegovina.” The Director of the Institute invited Ms. Žero, together with her colleagues, to visit the Institute.
