On Thursday, June 2, 2022, as a part of the panel “Dr. Sulejman Mašović”, at the Islamic Centre in Zagreb, the book promotion of “Ilahinama” was held.
At the very beginning, the attendees were addressed by the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Parviz Esmaeili who said that translations of such works would surely strengthen and deepen the well-ingrained historical and cultural ties between Iran, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.
Mubina Moker, PhD, the translator of the work, contrasted the relations between the Western authors and the authors of the East in accordance to the literary work, saying that authors like Sheikh Attar did not want to promote their own personality but to guide the recipient.
Rusmir Šadić, PhD, at the start of his own speech, gave praise to the Science and Research “Ibn Sina” Institute and the Publishing Centre “El-Kalem”, as well as to the translator Moker for the creation of such a work. He stated that this book makes the readers search for the Living God within themselves. For such a quest, a man of an awoken heart is required.
The attendees were then addressed by the poet Enes Kišević, who spoke about his impressions with great enthusiasm during his visit to Iran. He then recited several of his poems and pleased the attendees.
The programme was moderated by Professor Sead Alić, PhD.
