On Monday, February 16, 2026, a delegation from the “Ibn Sina” Scientific Research Institute, led by Director Mohammad Hossein Abbasi, visited the “Reis Ibrahim-ef. Maglajlić” Madrasa in Banja Luka and met with the madrasa’s director, Muris Spahić.
On this occasion, the Institute’s director presented the latest activities and projects of the Institute and donated a copy of the Bosnian-Persian Dictionary to the madrasa’s library.
The madrasa’s director expressed his readiness to enhance and expand the existing good cooperation. Mr. Spahić also introduced the visitors to the work, significance, and facilities of the Banja Luka madrasa.
The meeting was also attended by the chief imam of the Islamic Community Council in Banja Luka, hfz. Muamer-ef. Okanović, who is also a Qur’an recitation (Kira’ah) professor at this madrasa.
