The members of the Students Club “Ibn Sina”, on Saturday, May 28, 2022, accompanied by the founder of the Club, the Associate Professor Shahab Yar Khan, PhD, President of the Club Damir Kahrić, MA, and Mr Midhat Mujčinović, went on a trip from Sarajevo to Tuzla and the Modrac lake. A lift had been organised for all attendees, near-by the City Hall, and the trip began at 8:00 hrs, venturing from Sarajevo.

After the Club members spent their journey in a relaxed atmosphere, they were greeted by the Assistant Professor Rusmir Šadić, PhD, in Tuzla, who got acquainted with the students and the accompanying members, and he showed the guests several important sites. Among others, the Club members visited, with Šadić, PhD, the salt lakes, Kapija, Gazi Turali-Bey’s (Poljska) Mosque, and other locations. After the tour, the Club members, Khan, PhD, and Šadić, PhD, enjoyed a luncheon together, wherein they exchanged opinions and impressions within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Also, Šadić, PhD, in a friendly manner shared his own experiences and perceptions with the students about current issues and actual problems of the youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, especially regarding the higher education. After an insightful and constructive conversation, the members of the Club headed by bus towards the Modrac lake.

At Modrac, everyone had a chance to get comfortable in an enjoyable conversation and to enjoy the view of the lake. Later on, boats were rented and the members had an opportunity to enter the boats and to take delight in the beauties of the lake and nature.

Once the trip was completed successfully, everyone expressed their satisfaction with the organisation, as well as their gratitude towards the Science and Research “Ibn Sina” Institute, and then everyone came back to Sarajevo during the evening.
