On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the Scientific Research Institute “Ibn Sina” and the “Young Muslims” Association are organizing the promotion of the book Monograph Young Muslims, Volume I.
The promotion will be held in Gazi Husrev-bey’s library (Great Hall) in Sarajevo starting at 7:00 p.m.
This valuable work by the author Armin Džunuzović is the result of a joint publishing of the Scientific Research Institute “Ibn Sina” and the “Young Muslims” Association. The editor of the book is Edhem Bakšić, and the reviewers are Prof. Dr. Fahira Fejzić-Čengić and the Reis-ul-Ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Husein-ef. Kavazović.
The book contains biographies of 100 prominent members of the “Young Muslims” Association founded in 1939.
As every monograph aims to preserve the memory of certain events and their actors, the goal of this monograph is also to serve as a testimony to the great individuals of a small, yet brave nation—individuals about whom very little is known, but who are immensely important to the history of the country they come from.
