At the invitation of Mr Mohammad Abbasi, Professor Ćazim Hadžimejlić, PhD, on Wednesday, March 9, came to visit the “Ibn Sina” Institute in Sarajevo. During a pleasant and friendly conversation, they exchanged opinions and talked about the possibility of collaborating within the field of promoting the tesavvuf thought, and organising mutual panels of discussion and round-table debates, as well as about study-oriented travels to the I. R. of Iran intended+for students.
The director Mohammad Abbasi introduced Hadžimejlić, PhD, to the activities and the publishing work of the Institute, which has so far published more than 80 book publications regarding the field of tesavvuf, philosophy and humanities, and he expressed the desire for every form of mutual interest in cultural collaboration.
Professor Hadžimejlić, PhD, was thankful for the invitation and for his visit at the Institute and he expressed his satisfaction with the work of the Institute. Professor Hadžimejlić also expressed his readiness to have a promotion organised at the Mesudija tekke in Kaćuni. The promotion would relate to the work of Muhammed Feriduddin Attar’s work “Ilahinama”. It was arranged to have the promotion realised, alongside an enriching cultural content, before the blessed, upcoming month of Ramadan.
Professor Hadžimejlić, accompanied by the director of the Institute Mr Abbasi, toured the Institute and he spend time especially in the library.
The director of the Institute gifted Professor Hadžimejlić with the newest editions of the “Ibn Sina” Institute, and they likewise arranged for a donation to the Library of the Mesudija tekke.
