On Monday, 19 January 2026, the Director of the Ibn Sina Scientific Research Institute visited the Islamic Pedagogical Faculty in Zenica and met with Dr. Muharem Adilović, the Dean, for a discussion.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Director of the Institute, Mohammad Hossein Abbasi, expressed his condolences to Dean Dr. Adilović on the passing of the esteemed scholar Hafiz Dr. Halil ef. Mehtić. During the discussion, the Director of the Ibn Sina Institute reflected on the history of cooperation between the Institute and the Faculty, and briefed the Dean on the Institute’s current activities, expressing hope that the scientific and research collaboration between the two institutions would continue and expand in the future.
After briefly presenting the Faculty and its commendable academic capacities, Dr. Adilović said, among other things: „The Faculty has so far held several conferences and seminars in cooperation with the Ibn Sina Institute, which demonstrates good collaboration. On the other hand, our teaching staff includes two professors who studied at Iranian universities, which gives us a better insight into Iran’s scientific and social environment.”
