Admir Lisica, the head of the Center for Balkan Studies of the Scientific Research Institute „Ibn Sina“, attended an international conference in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje. As part of the visit, he took the opportunity to meet with Seadin Bilali, coordinator of the Islamic Community of North Macedonia for cooperation with Islamic communities and other related organizations in the region. Bilali is a very close associate of the prominent reisu-l-ulema of North Macedonia, Shakir Efendi Fetahu, who is committed to regional cooperation through his work.
Bilali completed his master’s degree in Novi Pazar and is very familiar with the relations in the region, as well as with the scientific and research work of the „Ibn Sina“ Institute. According to common interests, possible joint cooperation on scientific, cultural and educational projects in the upcoming period was discussed.
In the end, he emphasized his readiness to visit the „Ibn Sina“ Institute in Sarajevo in the coming period, and to discuss the upcoming cooperation modules.
