The Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in cooperation with the Bosniak Institute and the Scientific Research Institute “Ibn Sina,” is organizing a symposium on the topic “Mysticism in Islamic Civilization – The Influence of Ibn Arabi’s School on the Balkans, Iran, and Turkey” on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 14:30 at the Bosniak Institute.
The participants of this international symposium are highly educated professors and well-known names whose area of expertise and interest is Islamic mysticism (irfan).
With the presence of the Director of the Organization for Islamic Culture and Relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Imanpoor, the symposium will feature Prof. Dr. Fatemeh Tabataba’i and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Sheikh from Iran, Prof. Dr. Rešid Hafizović from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Prof. Dr. Abdulrahim Alkiş from Turkey, and Prof. Dr. Hasan Džilo from North Macedonia.
