On Thursday, January 22, Mohammad Hossein Abbasi, Director of the Ibn Sina Scientific Research Institute in Sarajevo, accompanied by a delegation consisting of Mr. Mahdi Alidousti, Deputy Director, and Dr. Jafar Azimzadeh, visited the Behram-beg Madrasa in Tuzla, where they were welcomed by the Madrasa’s Director, Dr. Admir Muratović.
During a warm and friendly conversation, the Director of the Institute briefly introduced Dr. Muratović to the most significant projects and activities of the Ibn Sina Institute, with particular emphasis on the Bosnian-Persian Dictionary project.
The Director of the Behram-beg Madrasa provided a brief history and overview of the activities of this important educational institution in the Tuzla Canton, and highlighted the constructive multi-year cooperation with the Institute.
Both sides exchanged views on the possibilities of enhancing cooperation and organizing joint projects.
At the conclusion of the visit, the Director of the Ibn Sina Institute presented a copy of the Persian-Bosnian Dictionary to the Madrasa Library, expressing his hope that the Dictionary will adequately serve the needs of both students and researchers in these two linguistic areas.
The Director of the Behram-beg Madrasa in Tuzla thanked the guests for their visit and presented them with gifts.
