The text that follows represents a former head of the Islamic community (reisul-ulema) as an engaged intellectual and an advocate of a practical aspect of inter-religious dialogue, as well as a person initiated in a Sufi order of Mevlevis. Thanks to that particular fusion, Čaušević was a particularly respected in public and partly in religious circles, and numerous initiation of his tasawwuf circle will preserve a large number of religious events from oblivion
