On September 29, 2023, in the premises of the “Ibn Sina” Institute in Sarajevo, a workshop was held for students entitled “The Future of Humanities and Social Sciences on the B&H market”. In this workshop, students could interactively hear and talk with their lecturers about ideas and ways to get a job in the market of Bosnia and Herzegovina after completing their studies.

Starting at 11 a.m., students had the opportunity to talk with Prof. dr. Amer Osmić, professor from the Faculty of Political Sciences of the University of Sarajevo, who spoke about the creation and progress of social sciences on the BiH market, especially through the prism of sociology, and presented his own opinions and exchanged views with the students.

Admir Lisica, MA, a historian with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Sarajevo, presented his own views and experiences regarding the completion of humanities studies, as such, and especially regarding history, and referred to different types of workplaces and interdisciplinary approaches that the study of history has.

Dr. Muhamed Mujakić spoke about law, i.e. legal sciences, as a study program between the humanities and social sciences, and they interactively discussed the orientation tests that, in addition to legal studies, can help young people to understand where their career is when the studies are completed.

Damir Kahrić, MA, spoke about the study of English, and about dispelling the idea that the study of this international language can only be presented within school institutions, and he spoke about academic and scientific-research activity that can serve as a good workplace for young English speakers. Also, on this occasion, the president of the Club said good-bye to his members, and expressed his deep and sincere gratitude for all active projects so far and wished the Institute and the Club good luck in future activities.
