Kavazovic, newly elected reisu-l-ulema from BiH and congratulated him on his re-election to that position. Dr. Hussein ef. Kavazovic expressed his appreciation for the support the Iranian people and government are showing to the people of BiH. Reisu-l-ulema also referred to the cooperation with the Ibn Sina Sarajevo Scientific Research Institute and the Mula Sadra Foundation and expressed willingness to expand cooperation between Iranian and Bosnian institutions in the fields of science, culture and religion.
The meeting was also attended by the Director of the Ibn Sina Institute, dr. Kazem Zoughi Barani.

Znakovi V 83 84The Ibn Sina Research Institute in Sarajevo has published a new issue of the periodical magazine "Signs of the Time" (83/84). The first section of the new issue is dedicated to Fazlur Rahman, with texts on this subject signed by Mustafa Cerić and Alireza Azad. Other texts  cover  topics: The notion of the mute in the Muslim tradition; The Position of Woman in Plato's Philosophy; Can modern universities lead to the truth of certainty; Identities, religion and social structure in medieval Bosnia. The current double issue of the Sign of the Time also features texts on the tevseer methodology of Allameh Tabataba'i, about the role of Naim Faraseri in shaping Albanian identity, and other.


enciklopedijski Almanah 1The Islamic Encyclopaedia Almanac, a unique project of the Islamic Community of the Islamic Community in Croatia, after several years of persistent work has been finalized and has recently emerged from the press.
In Almanah, among other things, are represented persons of the Muslim faith who in any way and in any area contributed to the development of the Community, Croatia and Croatian society to the present day. Almanac was published in April.
Although official promotion will be in September, when it will be available in broader sales, it's already available in the Zagreb mosque.
